1941 - 1999
A landscape painter in oils and watercolours. Born in Norwich and lived at Matlaske, North Norfolk. He studied at Norwich School of Art and Design and was a Royal Scholar at the Royal College of Art. Riches worked at the BBC before becoming a full time lecturer at Ealing School of Art (1968-70) and then at Norwich Institute of Art and Design (1972-90). He was a fellow of both The Royal Society of Artists and The Chartered Society of Designers.
