1908 - 1988
Born in Lowestoft, Norfolk. He studied part-time at Norwich School of Art under landscape painter Ernest Whydale. A printmaker and painter in oil and watercolour, mainly of East Anglian landscapes. Towards the end of his life he also worked in tempera. Member of the Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle and served as its Chairman and Vice-President.
