A painter, sculptor and teacher, born in Norwich. He attended Norwich School of Art (1936-40), Central School of Arts and Crafts (1947) and London University Institute of Education. Hamilton Wood settled in Norwich and became a member of the Twenty Group and Norfolk & Norwich Art Circle.
